Senior Magento Backend Developer - Manchester (Remote / Hybrid Working) - Up to £50,000 DOE - eCommerce


Our client is a full-service eCommerce agency delivering Adobe Commerce/Magento implementations and digital marketing solutions to national and international businesses.

Responsibilities:


You will be working within the development team with projects such as developing Magento products which will vary in complexity as well as size, maintaining the quality of the code.

You will also be peer reviewing more junior developers work as well as assistingthe lead developers including interpreting briefs from product owners.

You will actively be developing Magento websites alongside custom Magento extensions. Integrating Magento with other systems via EDI and API. You will also be supporting retainer clients and roadmapping developments.

A normal day will consist of morning stand-up with the project delivery team, to discuss any tasks and roadblocks.

Following on from this you will be given uninterrupted time to work through your own task list, whilst taking time out of your day to reviewother team members PR's.

You will be supported to become a Magento Certified Developer with training and materials boosting progression.

  • 6 years + experience with Magento
  • Experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of Docker or similar containerised environments
  • Familiar with version control systems (GitHub, BitBucket)
  • Confident at developing Magento extensions as well as using the Magento API
