Monday to Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm

Grade E (SCP £21,988 - £22,777FTE
(Actual Salary £18,766 - £19,439 pro rata)

Harrogate High School requires Learning Mentors to support a number of students in school with more complex social, emotional and behaviour needs.

We need to enable vulnerable students to regulate their emotions, to model and teach appropriate interactions, to de-brief when things go wrong and to make reparations.


The key responsibilities are:

enabling students in the development of strategies to manage their emotions; delivering intervention sessions with mentored students; supporting students reintegrate back into their mainstream lessons; supervise students working in Inclusion; creating behaviour profiles to enable behaviour targets to be set for individual students; support the Inclusion Manager with alternative provision and alternative curricula as needed.


Salary:
£18,766.00-£19,439.00 per year
