Description
We are a well-established, small sub-contract engineering company serving a wide spectrum of customers with a huge variety of bespoke requirements, offering interesting and varied work producing one-offs and small batch work for a skilled and adaptable machinist.
Requirements of the role:
- Ideally, you will be familiar with Mazak turning and Hurco milling operating systems but training will be available
- A sound knowledge of manual milling skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Good time management and ability to manage workload to meet delivery dates
- Willing to do overtime if required
- Accurately record time worked on jobs
Hours of work:
Mon-Thu 7:45am to 5pm, Fri 7:45am to 12:45pm (basic 40 hours per week)
Regular overtime available, paid at time and a third for the first 8 hours per week, then at time and a half
Annual leave: 20 days + bank holidays in first year, rising to 23 days + bank holidays after 3 full calendar years' service

Salary:
£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
