Job Description:


As a Sales Director for Freshworks, you'll be responsible and instrumental in managing commercial, mid-market and enterprise revenue growth for the UK and Ireland region.

You will manage all aspects of the sales management process and Go to Market strategy for the sales team. This role is quota-carrying with uncapped commission and plays an integral role in our growth plans across the globe.

We are in nurture and build mode, and with this comes a requirement for a growth mindset, the role you are hired for will develop going forward.


Your role and Responsibilities:


  • Be part of the UKI 1st Line Sales Leadership Team
  • Work closely with the General Manager of the region in scaling the high growth region and Leadership Team
  • Manage sales operations for the UKI region
  • Establish strong working relationships with various crossfunctional leadership roles and partners to ensure an aligned and effective overall gotomarket strategy
  • Implement local market plans and sales strategies to meet sales objectives
  • Provide ongoing reporting and forecasting for your territory
  • Develop actionable insights, with a test and learn approach to new initiatives
  • Build relationships with decisionmakers and key influencers across multiple industries
  • Be an evangelist for the company's vision and values across the board, including presenting at conferences and events
  • Lead, manage and inspire a crosscultural team of a range of roles
  • Act as a role model and cultural ambassador to ensure a great working environment
  • Identify, recruit and onboard top talent, continuously providing coaching and bestinclass training and development support for your employees
  • Use resources effectively, including MRE, BDR, Pre-Sales, Support, Project Managers and Product Marketing Managers to meet your sales goals
  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products
  • Participate in teambuilding and companygrowth activities including strategy setting, sales training, marketing efforts and customer care
  • Travel to customer locations in support of sales efforts when required

Experienced. At least 3 years experience of team leadership within a technical software environment

Domain Expert. You have experience in building and leading [SaaS] Sales teams. Bachelor's Degree a requirement

Excellent Communicator. You know what to say and more importantly, how and when to say it
