This role is within a unit where Surrey Police and Sussex Police work in collaboration, whilst remaining two separate legal entities/employers with different terms and conditions.
Both Surrey Police staff and Sussex Police staff are employed in this unit on their own force terms and conditions.
Grade - Surrey Police Grade D / Sussex Police Grade 7
Status - Full Time

Salary Grade Range - Surrey Police £24,075 - £27,303 / Sussex Police £24,462 - £26,487

- The starting salary for this role will usually be at the bottom of the salary range and will be prorata if the working hours are less than full time._

The Role & Key Responsibilities
PLEASE NOTE:
This Job Role is based at Surrey Police Headquarters, but positions
available across Surrey.
The Facilities Co-ordinator role is an important customer facing
role within the Facilities department, providing a variety of services that support the operational policing throughout Surrey. This includes carrying out minor maintenance tasks and ensuring that the Police estate is safe and compliant at all time for officers, staff, contractors and visitors. This role will require working with all levels of police staff, officers and be a point of contact for Contractors who attend to carry out works.
Skills & Experience
- Either in receipt of an existing IOSH Certificate Working or Managing Safety qualification or prepared to work towards this qualification within an agreed timeframe (to be agreed with line manager)
- Full driving licence with the ability to pass a police driving assessment and drive a range of different vehicles.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work using own initiative to solve problems.
- Ability to work as part of a Team and confident to take own responsibility for decisions' made.
- Experience of undertaking minor repairs & improvements.
- A mandatory part of the role is to be part of the oncall rota. This is essential and nonnegotiable.
- Computer literate, including the proficient use of Microsoft software including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Project
