Realtime Engineer | London |£55,000pa

I'm working with an experiential design studio who work with cutting edge technology and are looking for someone to join their technical team as a Realtime Engineer to help craft the next wave of high-profile artistic endeavours.

You will be building and maintaining the infrastructure surrounding their immersive and interactive experiences.

Working with cutting edge technology means sometimes a solution doesn't exist, so you'll be a key part of the team of technicians, artists andcreators building bespoke as well as using off-shelf solutions.

Responsibilities:

Working as part of the technical team to develop, produce and create the core systems that drive our experiences, from networking protocol structure, and bespoke plugin integration through to novel systems
Understand and implement the pipelines for complex external systems within modern game engines (Unity & UE specifically)
Ability to recommend and evaluate custom implementations vs offtheshelf solutions to best solve problems
Maintain existing codebases and provide lowlevel support on complex programming problems
Best practice version control and Dev Ops

Requirements:

3+ years of experience, an excellent github/professional portfolio or a
shipped title/experience:
Proven knowledge of
C++and/or
C# with proficiency in others
Proven knowledge of realtime game engines (
Unity & UE specifically)
Software development: system architecture, modular systems, version control, collaborative development, API design
Computer Science: networking, image/depth/transform data, algebra, matrix manipulation

Details:

Location: East London can be remote, must be UK based for monthly office meeting
Salary: £40,000 £55,000pa
