Description

We are currently seeking a production / machine operative to work in a highly skilled environment.

You will be processing insulated glass units whilst making sure the final product is to the specific requirements of our customers, and at a high quality standard.

Manual Handling

You will primarily assist in the smooth running of day-to-day operations in the glass making process.

Dependent on the specific role, operatives may work upon a diverse range of processes including manual handling, and use of machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

Using various pieces of equipment whilst following Health & Safety guidelines
Inform management of any issues that may cause a delay in meeting deadlines at the earliest possible opportunity
Quality check the glass to ensure no damage has occurred during production
Check the glass against the works order document, label and drawings. Inform management of any ambiguities before starting work
Keeping work areas clean and tidy, report any Health & Safety matters to management, e.g. obstructions and hazards

Static Shift Hours:

Days - 06:00am to 14:15pm, Mon-Fri

Pay:
Depending on years experience/skills.
