Description

This post is an opportunity for a Band 4 Occupational Therapy Assistant to work in the Medium Secure Forensic Service this a 12 month fixed term/secondment post.

This role involves being part of the Recovery-focused Occupational Therapy Team carrying out specialist group and individual work within the inpatient unit working across acute, rehab and specialist wards.

To support the OT service in providing specialist OT treatment in inpatient and community settings
To implement the OT treatment plans through the provision of specialist individual and group treatment programmes
To positively contribute to the development of the forensic mental health occupational therapy service
To collaborate with the MDT team in its provision of assessment and treatment of service users
Responsible for accurately completing petty cash vouchers related to purchases made for service provision.
To carry out administrative tasks as required to support the smooth running of the Occupational Therapy team.
