BCP's Access to Resources Team (ART) is responsible for commissioning services that support children, young people and families. The team is very well established and has been identified as an example of best practice nationally.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Contract Manager to join our team and work on behalf of 20 Local Authorities who are working in partnership to commission children's care provision via a Framework contract.


The role will be demanding but rewarding for the right individual who will be responsible for the effective management of all aspects of the contractual arrangements.

This shall include managing a programme of projects to deliver strategies relating to the care provider market.

Alongside this the post holder will continue to maintain, develop and manage relationships between Local Authorities and providers by visiting and reporting on performance, to determine and ensure the successful delivery of outcomes for Children and Young People accessing care.


This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for the role.


As a result of the creation of BCP Council in 2019, we are working on simplifying our terms and conditions of service and will be creating a single pay structure which is to be applicable for all employees.
