Meraki Talent are exclusively engaged on the permanent position of Project & Cost Controller based in Edinburgh (hybrid working) paying £50,000 - £55,000 plus an excellent benefits package including fantastic bonus and pension.

The Role

This role is a newly developed position to take ownership of an extremely high value & profile project, however other projects will also be placed into their care within the next 12-24 months.

It's varied and diverse role that will provide the utmost exposure to every stage of the project lifecycle, including be responsible for creating and develop the processes, procedures, controls & systems.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

Taking ownership of a high value & profile project with other projects to be added into the portfolio within the near future
Business partnering with several internal functions and stakeholders including senior management team
Building and delivering an effective cost management strategy and framework for ongoing projects
Produce detailed and accurate project cost reports and analysis
Project budgeting and forecasting including analysis (budget vs actuals etc.) and business partnering with Project Managers
Monitor and control project invoicing/billing, ensuring they are correct and reconciled to the budget (with any deviations being challenged)
Support with the risk analysis process as/when required
Ad hoc duties

To be considered for this opportunity you must have strong costings experience within projects - this can be achieved from a variety of different sectors including renewables, energy, construction, infrastructure etc.

On Offer
The position of Project and Cost Controller is based in Edinburgh but with fully flexible and hybrid working (1-2 office and 3-4 days at home)

The role will offer:
- £50,000 - £55,000 salary
