- To gain a clear understanding of individual project deliverables and ensure they align with Client Site, Site Operations business interests, and our respective Business Partner's needs.
- To work in partnership with, and act as a catalyst to inform and enable business Partners to meet Client's expectation, to deliver successful project technical support for any given planned project
- Review URS, feasibility and detailed design to ensure all operational considering have been included.
- Ensure that the CBRE Engineering Facilities Team is involved at appropriate stages throughout the project.
- Ensure that adequate funding is included in project financial submission to ensure full Engineering Facilities Team involvement.
- Attend all relevant project meetings and feedback any information of value to the CBRE Engineering Facilities team and senior management.
- Relevant resource is made available from the CBRE Engineering Facilities Team to provide local site and engineering knowledge to the project when necessary.
- Ensure that information is passed to the project regarding specific requirements for manual structures, spares and their listing, asset number arrangements, room number requirements, etc.
- Ensure that the CBRE Engineering Facilities Team has a thorough understanding of the project progress, project milestones and key activities that may have an impact on the site, building or facility.
- Ensure that all operational staff within the area affected by the project is kept fully abreast of the Project, including project programme, suspension of existing routine operations, services layout changes/implications and accessibility.
- The project is made aware of all pertinent and applicable site standards, procedures and local polices that apply.
- To consider the implications of the project on future O and M team resource requirements and to propose staffing levels during the Projects various phases and into the operation and occupancy.
- Consider the impact of the project in respect of existing Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Operating Procedures, COSHH and Engineering Facilities Team PCPs.
- To ensure, in conjunction with other Project Team members, that the design of the plant and its operations will allow for safe and reliable operation in accordance with all SHE policies
- To review and agree material handling needs for operation of the facility. Consider the integration of waste O and M waste streams in the existing arrangements.
- To ensure that appropriate product safety and environmental protection data is available for the building fabric and the building services.
- Carry out principle coordination activities on behalf of the site engineering team on AZ OPS Capital Projects in line with requirements of RACI.
- Communicate all Engineering activities and requests associated with the assigned project to the Project Manager
- Produce reports and carry out technical studies where defined by the Project Team or Line Manager
- To supervise and allocate work to contractors on a daytoday basis dedicated to Capital Project support works
- To carry out emergency procedures; passing on and gathering information to and from utility companies etc., in accordance with company procedures.
- Generate reactive Work orders and/or quotations for additional engineering works required by the Project
- Identify work practices or installation standards which could be improved and raise the necessary instruction or RFI or RFPs
- Provide reports relating the operational aspects of the project.
- Prepare, edit and produce Change Controls, asset Registration Docs and operational procedures and standards required as a result of the new project
- Liaise with AZ OPS / Capital Projects to Plan and coordinate necessary training and familiarisation required by the Site Engineering Team resulting from the delivery of a Capital Project
- Take responsibility for generating the necessary CAFM forms and progressing through the completion of the subsequent labeling requirements
- Ensure that CCs are considered, and where appropriate generated, for all modifications, installations and service interruptions.
- Issue and receive permits to work and related certificates.
- Receive, review, challenge and agree completion certificates for commissioning and the handover of systems
- Receive, review, challenge and agree Operation and Maintenance manual content, ELDs and schematics.
- Arrange for CIAC reviews for CML generation and progression of all associated documentation
- To ensure all operational documentation necessary for putting the Building Services Plant and building fabric into operation is prepared in advance of handover, as far as practical.
