Description

We provide individually tailored care for up to 19 horses. From yearlings, to ex racehorses, child ponies to competition horses. You will be calm and hard working and ready to learn about all aspects of running a successful yard.

Duties will include, but not limited to;

Turning out and bringing in
Mucking out
Feeding, watering and haying
Grooming
Clipping and trimming
Maintaining the cleanliness of the yard at all times
Bandaging
Tacking up
Lunging/long reining

Friendly
Hardworking

Desired qualifications

GCSE's, or equivalents, desired but not essential.

Future prospects

Things to consider

We are out in all weathers and on our feet for most of the day.
The apprentice will be working to build a portfolio of evidence and will be required to pass a knowledge test and an End Point Assessment (EPA) to complete the apprenticeship.
