Temporary 3-month position with a possibility of an extension- Hybrid working (12 days per week in the office)
About Our Client:
The successful Database Administrator will join a large UK Charity working across teams in Fundraising and Supporter Engagement.
They will be responsible for managing all data imports and exports and play a large role in the successful upgrade of the current CRM system.
The key responsibilities of the Database Administrator include;
- To manage and execute data imports, ensuring accuracy of data, monitoring and reconciliation.
- To liaise with third party suppliers ensuring data specifications and transfer routines are tested and adhered to.
- To receive briefings and make selections for potential recipients for mailings and telemarketing campaigns to agreed deadlines and specifications.
- To run checks and make quality control recommendations about data imported or manually added to CRM system.
- Responsibilities for setting up new direct debit instructions with BACS, action BACS reports for cancellations and amendments and ensuring collections and reconciliation processes are maintained.
- To assist with general database administration, data cleansing and development projects, inhouse and externally contracted.
- Provide reporting and expertise to support the analysis of campaigns and other activities
- Set up new users, maintain security groups and provide user training
The Successful Applicant:
The successful Database Administrator;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management software
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in data management or related field preferred
- Experience working with a CRM
- Experience managing a wide range of data sets
- Experience importing/exporting data using different criteria and rules
- Knowledge of GDPR compliance
- Experience handling different data sets
What's on Offer:
