Full time starting salary £17,971. per annum, rising to £22,464. per annum after 12 months service

Apprentice Grade 2

Full time / Fixed Term for 16 Months.

Apprenticeship context and summary
Birmingham Research Park provides secure, high quality office space, and virtual tenancies, in a community of research-led companies.

Tenants benefit from access to the world-class knowledge base and facilities provided by the University of Birmingham.


During this apprenticeship you will learn how to carry out a variety of tasks as well as providing excellent customer service to all visitors and tenants at the Research Park.


This apprenticeship is an exciting opportunity to work within University of Birmingham Enterprise and is designed to provide a wide range of facilities services experience.


You will learn to support the effective running of the busy Facilities Office providing support across all facilities comprising a broad variety of activities.

The role is necessarily broad in scope and the post-holder will have the opportunity of experiencing and learning about every aspect of the Bio Hub facility including space management, building maintenance and health and safety.

The role will include day-to-day office duties, facilities assistance, and basic project administration with scope to learn new areas as the apprenticeship progresses.
