Cyber Broker/cyber Account Executive - London, United Kingdom - The Ardonagh Group
Description
Purpose of the Role:
To support the cyber team in the production and placement of cyber insurance risks with particular emphasis on UK and International placements
Key Role Accountabilities:
- Directly handle midmarket/large complex cyber placements in both a lead and a supporting broking role
- Develop placement strategies to deliver suitable solutions, including price and structure, which address each individual client's needs, both individually and alongside other colleagues and stakeholders
- Identify appropriate markets on individual placements, and create and develop relationships with underwriters in both the London and International markets
- Develop account service strategy for both wholesale and retail clients in line with the overall divisional strategy, and support and deliver the endtoend ongoing client service
- Participate in tendering/RFP process as and when required
- Management of mid term enquiries and the renewal process for existing clients
- Ensure the operational and service delivery in line with divisional policies
- Support the team in accurate budgeting and forecasting of revenues
- Assisting and coaching junior colleagues within the team
- Overseas travel as and when required
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 35 years cyber market experience from either an underwriting or broking role
- A track record of delivering high levels of client service
- Experience in the wholesale placement process
- Understanding of market wordings and coverages and the ability to highlight and identify coverage differentials
- Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to effectively deliver client service
- Understanding of cyber pricing and the ability to design programs in line with client needs
- An understanding of IT infrastructures and the ability to identify and highlight control deficiencies and provide recommendations for improvement
- Knowledge of cyber claims processes and procedures
- An ability to demonstrate negotiating and sales skills

- Strong and clear communication and negotiation skills
- Able to prioritize, manage deadlines and work under pressure.
- Good analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
- A clear desire to work as part of a team to support team and divisional growth
