Are you looking for a rewarding role in a well-established hospital in South Wales? We are currently recruiting for dedicated and experienced cleaners to join our team.

As a cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in both public and clinical areas, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.


Responsibilities:


Cleaning Excellence:
Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with hospital protocols and guidelines.

Area Maintenance:
Clean and disinfect restrooms, public areas, waiting rooms, corridors, and other designated spaces. Follow established procedures to ensure thorough and efficient cleaning practices.

Equipment Handling:
Properly handle and operate cleaning equipment, tools, and machinery. Adhere to safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure the longevity of cleaning equipment.

Physical Stamina:
This role requires physical stamina as it involves prolonged periods of standing, bending, lifting, and walking. Manual handling and the ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently are essential.

Shift Work and Availability:
As a cleaner, you will be part of a four-week rota system. Shifts will be set in advance, and you will need to be available between 07:00 - 20:00. Shifts may vary depending on operational needs, and flexibility is appreciated.

DBS Check Requirement:

To work with our esteemed client in the hospital, you will need to pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

This ensures the safety and security of vulnerable individuals within the healthcare setting.


Shift Times and Pay:


Monday to Sunday:
09:30 - 14:30 (Any 3-5 days out of 7)

Monday to Friday:
£10.42 per hour (Rising to £11.45 after 12 weeks of continuous service)

Saturday:
£14.69 per hour


Sunday:
£19.07 per hour
