Description

Qualifications:

Qualified to degree level in acoustics or acoustics related discipline
Membership of the IOA
Full driving licence
Experience
Commercial experience in environmental and/or building acoustics.
Previous experience of acoustic consultancy of infrastructure including rail projects
Good written, verbal and presentation skills
Be numerate, literate and familiar with IT and software appropriate to the project tasks
Extensive working knowledge of noise modelling sotware
An ability to communicate effectively
Be commercially aware
Be highly motivated, conscientious and diligent with attention to detail
Flexible and prepared to take on a new challenge.
Duties
Work on a number of high profile energy projects
Provide support to more experienced consultants, advance in modelling skills

Attending meetings with clients and contractors in order to develop existing relationships and to forge new business relationships in order to develop the acoustics sector within the business.

Responding to enquiries, communicating with clients to establish their needs and liaising with industry contacts
Undertaking noise measurement work and analysis
Completing project administration and data collation
Projects
wind farms, solar energy developments, residential, education, commercial, and mixed used schemes.
