XP Tavern is a premium competitive socialising venue located in Aldgate East, combining high-performance gaming, immersive cinema-style experiences, cocktails and vibrant group events.
We are building one of London's most exciting social entertainment destinations, focused not only on atmosphere but on strong booking performance and corporate growth.
Role PurposeDrive both brand visibility and revenue growth for XP Tavern.
This role combines social media content creation with sales, lead management and proactive business development.
You will be responsible for growing our online presence while actively converting enquiries into bookings and generating new large group and corporate sales.
This is a commercially driven creative position suited to someone who understands both marketing and revenue generation.Working Structure
This role combines office-based responsibilities with on-site activity at our venue. The position is requires office-based work two to three days per week. Depending on business needs and scheduled events, the remaining two to three days will involve on-site work. Working hours may be variable.
The office is located within walking distance of the venue. When filming, content shoots or event coverage are required, you will work from the venue.
Occasional evening attendance may be required depending on business needs, for example during major events, corporate bookings or pre-planned content shoots.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media and Content Creation
- Create, edit and post content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Develop and manage a structured monthly content calendar
- Plan and schedule content shoots
- Prepare scripts and content concepts in advance
- Film and edit short-form videos including Reels and TikToks
- Capture venue atmosphere, games, cocktails, food and events
- Write engaging captions with clear calls to action
- Monitor analytics and adjust strategy to improve performance
- Maintain consistent brand tone and visual identity
- Monitor all inbound enquiries including DMs, email, website and third-party platforms
- Respond quickly and professionally to booking enquiries
- Convert leads into confirmed bookings
- Follow up on warm and pending enquiries
- Manage communication for large group and corporate bookings
- Coordinate booking details with the operations team
- Actively seek new booking opportunities
- Source corporate and large group clients
- Reach out to companies, event organisers and community groups
- Manage and optimise third-party booking platforms such as Tagvenue, Wonderdays and other venue marketplaces
- Identify new channels to generate group bookings
- Build partnerships that increase venue exposure
- Work towards agreed monthly revenue targets
- Minimum three years of experience in hospitality, Social media, events or venue sales
- Proven experience in social media content creation
- Strong short-form video editing skills using CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar
- Commercial mindset with focus on revenue generation
- Excellent written communication skills
- Highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities
