Painter and Decorator to complete both planned and reactive maintenance works in both domestic and commercial settings.
You must be experienced in all aspects of painting and decorating and have worked in varied environments. Working on social housing properties, covering all aspects of painting and decorating and making good repairs.
We work on a variety of different projects, sites and building types & weekend & out of hours work may be required to ensure that jobs are completed on time.
Duties include:
- Painting and decorating from minor works to full room refurbishments and attention to detail to ensure finishing is to a high standard
- Repair and make good damaged, flaking, water stained and mouldy ceilings/walls where damp has come through
- Reactive response requests for emergency and general requests such as emergency leak damage repair, severe mould treatment.
- Carry out patch plastering jobs (desired but no essential)
Working Hours:
Mon-Fri 7.30am to 5pm - Including Travelling Time

You must be reliable, trustworthy, have a 'can-do' attitude, excellent communication skills and fantastic attention to detail.
Before applying, please ensure you fulfil the following criteria:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience of painting and decorating in both domestic and commercial environments
- Attention to detail and good finishing
- Phone literate and can use a job sheet system to communicate job status and completion/ PDA
- Clean UK Driver's License
- City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 qualification in Painting and decorating
- Social housing experience (not essential)
- ASAP interview and start
- Please note that this role may require a DBS Check.
Salary:
Salary dependent on skills and experience
