Programme Overview

Apprentice Auto Electrician will learn the skills to be able to diagnose and repair all aspects of Modern automotive electrical systems including EV and Hybrid vehicle, Air conditioning systems, ADAS & Can Bus.

Will learn how to interpret wiring diagrams and use specialist diagnostic equipment for diagnostic and programming processes.


What skills will I learn?

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on vehicles.
• Use of specialist equipment for diagnostic and programming processes.
• Giving a positive impression to customers

Monitoring and solving all aspects of customer service issues.


How long will my apprenticeship last?
You will work through your apprenticeship for a duration of up to 4 years.


Working hours and Salary

Your hours will typically be 40 hours per week and you may also be required to work on a Saturday on a rota basis.

Your salary will be paid £7.00 per hour (may vary depending on age)

Once qualified as a Auto Electrician, career options can be promoted positions within the company.


What Qualifications are required
Good Core Skills in IT, Communication, Numeracy, Problem Solving and Working with others.

Must be highly organised and have good attention to detail.

Excellent IT and Communication skills.

Excellent time management.

A really strong desire to work within the Automotive Industry.
