**Electric Gate & Barrier Engineers - Manchester - £35,000 - £38,000 per annum

Covering areas such as:

Manchester, Liverpool and Preston**Concept has a terrific opportunity for a skilled, knowledgeable and qualified Automated Barrier and Electric Gate Engineer to join our established NSI Gold accredited client.

This is a field-based role which will require a degree of physical work,working at outdoors and driving to and from sites within a given day.

You will be working on sites such as:

car parks, larger grounds and business or industrial areas where entry and exit need to be controlled and monitored closely.

Experience with Automated Barriers and Electric Gates is essential, but all experience is considered.

The higher-grade engineer will usually work on complex fault diagnosis where a less experienced engineer will concentrate on preventative maintenance, straightforward repairs and replacements, and basic faults.

Key Responsibilities:

To deliver preventative visits to automated barrier, electric gate and ANPR systems mainly in commercial environments.
You must adhere to NSI codes of practice and industry standards.
A call out rota is not currently operational but may be required in the future.
To carry out maintenance visits as and when scheduled by the Service Desk.
To keep your line manager and service desk updated on your daily progress.
To deliver all tasks as per your grade to a highquality standard.
To liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for technical advice when necessary
To provide remote support to selected Clients when on call with a view to diagnose and rectify faults
To occasionally assist the Installation department if required by the business.

The ability to think on your feet and problem solve.
Must be able to plan your own diary and remain organized.
Enjoys customer facing, polite and helpful
Able to work away on the odd occasion with notice given.
