Personal Assistant

Location:
Congleton, CW12

Day/Times:
Monday to Thursday 10:00am - 1:30pm

Fridays 10:00am - 1:00pm

Hours: 17 hrs per week

Rate of pay:
£11.50 per Hour

Mileage paid

Purpose of the Job
I am lady who lives in Congleton and requires a female Personal assistant. I have had a stroke and suffer with ME and Fibromyalgia. I get fatigued throughout the day. I require my personal assistant to have a full driving licence and pay 45p per mile. DBS check required.

Personal Assistant Specification
My assistant will need to demonstrate good communication skills
My assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable, must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity.
My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition. You must be able to work well independently.
Experience is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.

Supervision
My personal assistant is accountable to me in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.

Main Duties
Minimal personal care
Supervise me in and out of the bath / assist with dressing
Prompt medication
Support with making meals
Take me to appointments
Filling up drinks
Light housekeeping

The main duties identified in the job description are examples of the expectations required; I may on occasions reasonably request additional activities to be undertaken inside or outside of the home.
