People Advisor
Eden Brown Synergy is working with an NHS Organisation based in Wiltshire which is seeking to recruit a People Advisor to join their Organisational Development & People Department for a minimum of 3 months.
Overview of the roleThis Organisation are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work in a relatively autonomous way while remaining a strong team player - a role model for its values and behaviours.
Does this sound like you? If successful, you will create effectiveand credible relationships with the Divisions, and across the Trust, positively influencing patient and staff experiences within the Organisation.
You will a provide comprehensive, efficient, and effective operational Human Resources service and professionalHR advice to all staff groups.As People Advisor some of your key responsibilities include:
- Analysing complex HR issues and making decisions in relation to e.g. disciplinary action, grievance hearings, sickness counselling, interpretation of HR policies.
- Developing and reviewing existing HR policies, ensuring that all information is accurate and up to date.
- Monitoring sickness absence within divisions, working with your colleagues to maintain and improve sickness absence levels.
- Delivering appropriate HR training courses, working with the Head of People Operations to ensure courses are informative and up to date.
Experience & Skills required:
- Experience in a HR role with a focus on Employment Relations.
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience.
- CIPD Qualified or near qualified and member of CIPD.
