Business Development Manager

Hybrid (minimum of 1 day a week in the office)

Salary - Base £35k (£OTE £50-£70k)

Due to continued business growth, a successful family-run Waste Management company are looking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager to further expand the team, with a primary focus on national sales, reporting directlyto the Commercial Director.


You:

The Job:


  • Build and maintain strong, longlasting customer relationships.
  • Proactively and reactively selling profitable new business to meet set targets.
  • Oversee the timely and successful delivery of Company solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Director to identify new business opportunities to ensure growth attainment.
  • Delivery of account planning review meetings and report progress to line management.
  • Maintain accurate, current and up to date account records.
  • Be the primary interface between Fletchers Waste Management and our target customers.
  • Responsibility for sales prospecting and pricing negotiations.
  • Working closely with the Brokering and CS teams to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
  • Reasonable adhoc duties where required (within capabilities).

Requirements:


  • Must have in waste management skips, hazardous waste, waste clearances, muck away etc.
  • Be able to build new and existing relationships both over the phone and face to face.
  • Must have their own vehicle.
  • Must have a tenacious, outgoing personality.
  • Used to working to KPIs
