Who Does This Role Report Into? Site Director


Role Summary/Purpose and Scope

Working as part of the site management team for the Wilton Centre, as well as supporting the Head Office Client Accounting and Credit Control Teams as necessary.

The role will be based at the Wilton Centre and the goal is the administration of raising purchase orders & supplier invoice approvals via the central procurement system together with the administration of occupier recharges with a focus on administering the utility charge for the property.

The role will also have involvement with ensuring that MAPP are able to collect occupational charges from occupiers on behalf of the landlord within agreed deadlines.


Skills, Knowledge and Values:


Skills (People & Technical)

  • Numerical and financial awareness.
  • Good interpersonal skills capable of communicating at various levels including direct meetings with occupiers.
  • Well organised, able to prioritise tasks, and work under pressure
  • Selfmotivated and proactive.
  • Effective PC skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft and Google packages.
  • Familiar with Excel and be able to produce basic spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work within strict deadlines.
  • Flexible attitude to changes in the company, IT systems and the role.

Competencies

  • Understanding the significance of occupier engagement service.
  • Main accounting point of contact between the occupiers accounts team and the MAPP clients accounting and credit control team.
  • Meeting MAPP's and clients deadlines for accounting deliverables.
  • Good understanding of site operations and processes.
  • Understanding of leasing arrangements and subsequent changes in ongoing lease charges.
  • Ability to prepare reconciliations between MAPP and Occupier accounting systems.
  • Investigating and resolving reconciling items.
  • Ability to update the property management database with communications.
  • Ability to produce ad hoc reports as required.
  • An understanding of the preparation and reconciliation of service charge accounts.
  • Awareness of the causes and resolution of service charge funding issues.
