We are excited to open a 12-month discipline specific internal medicine internship position at Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists (LPVS), starting July 2024 until June 2025.


We are seeking a proactive and professional individual with strong interpersonal and time-management skills to join our Internal Medicine service consisting of three ECVIM-CA and two ACVIM diplomates, one board-eligible medicine clinician, one oncology diplomate, two medicine residents and one other medicine intern.

The team is supported by a team of skilled registered veterinary nurses, including two medicine nurses and eight rotating interns.

Interns must also demonstrate a commitment to practising the highest standards of veterinary medicine and patient care, and have an interest in research.


We hold regular medicine team social events and pride ourselves on not only looking after our patients but also each other.

Our services include Anaesthesia and Analgesia, Emergency and Critical Care, Orthopaedic surgery, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Diagnostic Imaging, Dermatology and Physiotherapy.

The hospital is an ISFM gold feline clinic and was awarded the BVHA design award for an outstanding working environment.
