Responsibilities:


How Will You Contribute to the Company?
***The Global SE Specialist is responsible for working directly with customers, partners, and account SEs to solve networking challenges and address business needs. From design consultation through demonstrations and Proof-of-Concept testing, this position brings both thought leadership and hands-on expertise throughout the sales cycle. Additionally, this individual contributes to growing the overall expertise of the SE organization and collaborates on product feature requests with product management.


The Global SE Specialist will be a well-organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects, with excellent communication skills.

They will be passionate about technology, eager to learn, and be a creative problem solver. They will enjoy working in a team environment and embrace the Cradlepoint ideology of being "Humble and Hungry".


What Will You Do?

  • Support Cradlepoint and partner sales opportunities as they relate to features & functionality of the Cradlepoint portfolio
  • Develop labs, training, documentation, etc. on Cradlepoint solutions
  • Develop training, videos, and documentation on highpriority use cases for Cradlepoint and partner sales teams
  • Assist leading Virtual Teams, a cross functional group of technologists focused on various technologies
  • Engage and collaborate with Product Management on feature requests and new product initiatives
  • Consult on bugs and escalations with Support as needed

  • Developing script or leveraging automation tools to help with job responsibilities would be a major plus

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) supported by five to seven years of experience in network engineering
  • Five (5+) yearsof experience building or supporting edge enterprise branch routing and security solutions
  • Proven ability to understand complex and indepth level technical situations, related business challenges and be able to communicate strategies for effective solutions
  • Excellent communications skills and comfort/experience with public speaking
  • Ability to distill complex technical concepts into understandable language to any
level of audience

  • Should have practical experience or strong knowledge in multiple areas:
  • Networking and security technologies (L2/L3, SDWAN, BGP, OSPF, Firewall, L4-L7, IDS/IPS, ZTNA, etc.)
  • IoT technologies including NB-IOT, LoRaWAN, BLE, ZigBee etc.
  • Virtual Private Network Solutions and Technology (VTI, IPSec, DMVPN, etc.)


  • Cloud technologies

  • AWS, Azure, VPC, etc.


  • Virtual system environments

  • VMWare, KVM, etc.
  • OT network experience desirable, including industrial protocols (Profinet, Modbus, DNP3 etc.), and legacy device interfaces, eg: Serial RS232

Bonus Points:


  • Experience working with Python, Automation Tools, PowerShell Scripts, API etc.
  • Cradlepoint, Cisco, or other industry certifications
  • Track record of experience with IOT products and solutions, knowledge of that ecosystem
