Able to take the product roadmap, customer feedback and defects and turn them into user stories to be delivered and implemented in the Digital Wallet.


Day to day you'll­

  • Gather requirements from a range of different sources, including product backlogs, customer feedback and App Store ratings.
  • Analyse these requirements and translate into customer journeys and user stories ready to be delivered by digital and data engineers.
  • Support the development of the overall Digital Wallet roadmap, strategy, and plans, including prioritisation and backlog management.
  • Work as part of multidisciplined squads delivering in sprints.
  • Lead business analysis activities to ensure your team has all the information they need.
  • Using your influencing skills to bring the right people together to work through complex tasks and reach the right outcomes.

  • Contributing to and leading standard Agile planning ceremonies (sprint planning, sprint retrospective) as well as Daily Stand Ups.
  • Supporting the Scrum Master and Product Owner in managing the Product Backlog and ensuring that key metrics such as time remaining and velocity and understood and followed by the team.
  • Building relationships across the business to help truly understand what our customers want and what will make them happier about money
  • Be the voice of the business or end user and help your team develop and test software for one of our key digital channels.
  • Support planned releases and maintenance windows, coordinating activities across business and technical stakeholders and minimising customer inconvenience and platform downtime.
  • Understanding the external competitive landscape, including market trends and innovations at payment and other digital competitors in the payments and digital wallet space.

To be brilliant you must have

  • Be an expert in digital payments platforms.
  • Customer focus, able to translate customer feedback and metrics into deliverable activities.
  • A proven track record in business analysis within an agile digital environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of business change methodologies and processes including Business Driven Development.
  • Proven capability in gathering and documenting complex requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, preferably in Gherkin format.
  • Proficient in creating detailed process maps using industry standard techniques.
  • Strong capability in complex business impact assessment & analysis across multiple Business streams.
  • Experience in analysing data to facilitate informed decision making.
  • Comfortable working with both technical & nontechnical stakeholders.
  • A collaborative attitude and experience of helping multidisciplinary teams to deliver userfocused digital products and services.
  • First class interpersonal skills, coupled with strong influencing abilities and a cando attitude to keep focussed on delivering the right business outcome.
  • Be a selfstarter, well organised and able to work independently on complex tasks.
  • Understanding of the power of brand and purpose to drive customer engagement.
  • Selfstarting and driven to succeed.

It's a bonus if you have but not essential

  • Strong understanding of digital propositions, including digital wallets, payments, and rewards.
  • Experience in partaking in standard Scrum Methodology and Lean Practices.
  • An understanding of Banking & Finance organisations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in digital proposition development methodologies.
  • Strategic thinker with one eye on the future while delivering success in the short term.
  • Strong understanding of all things digital from a design and digital experience perspective.
  • Passionate about all things digital and aware of the latest emerging technologies.
  • Prior success engaging customers through digital technologies and communications.
  • Strong knowledge of the latest data protection rules and best practices, including data minimisation, GDPR, privacy by design and consent management.
