Sharp Consultancy are excited to be working with a well-established business based in Sheffield, they are one of the top 100 businesses to work for in the UK and the client is looking for a Commercial Project Accountant to join their team and support withnew projects.

This role operates in a fast paced, innovative and exciting environment and this is a diverse role focused around the project support of the business.

You will be part of a small team providing support to new project development across the business with significant focus on the manufacturing and development department.

You will report into the Commercial Director and create strong reporting links to seniorleaders across Finance.

Key duties will include:

Responsible for the planning and delivery of all aspects of financial management of sophisticated multifaceted projects of significant scale.
Drive collaboration across teams to coordinate inputs and support sophisticated project development
Responsible for the design and delivery of business cases for proposed investment projects
Lead on ensuring governance routes for projects are clearly communicated and project teams are supported to meet required timeframes.
Lead the organisation of project groups and/or meetings needed to support the development of each project.
Proactive member of the Finance Leadership Team, ensuring delivery of departmental objectives and strategy which underpin the University's Vision.
Any other duties, commensurate with the grade of the post.
