This is not just any job this is an M&S Pricing Operations Planner Job In this role you will play a vital part in the delivery of our Trusted Value pricing strategy.

Working within a large team, you'll have ownership of selected categories and support day to day in driving pricing integrity, best in class shelf edge ticketing standards and ultimately enhancing the customer experience You will work with not only our amazing Pricing and Promotions team but closely alongside our Trading Division, Retail Operations and IT teams.

With a keen eye for detail and knowing your market - you'll be critical in driving and protecting the Magic of M&S Food.

Key accountabilities and measures

  • Handle all ticket creation and maintenance, including: New Product Development, Promotion, Price investment, Regular Selling Price and Content in accordance with defined SLAs.
  • Create and maintain TPR, multibuy, Reduced to Clear and Dido promotion setup in SAP and Beanstore.
  • Create and maintain price fixes and retail uplifts in SAP.
  • Adhere to the Promotional Critical Path, working closely with trading, retail and P&P to ensure compliance.
  • Handle ticketing and promotion audits
  • Maintain 100% accuracy for ticket and price alignment.
  • Review ticket queries daily, working closely with the stores to resolve.
  • Ensure that all ticketing is Trading Standards compliant acting as ambassadors for Trading Safely & Legally. Report on Trading compliance, advising on standard process and preventative measures.
  • Handle operational peak promotion, price and ticketing delivery in collaboration with relevant partners.
  • Provide IT and Business project support as ticket/promotion & price SMEs.
  • Handle creation of new ticket templates working with Marketing and P&P team.

  • Food System Skills: SAP, ECS, FPS, FMD, Beanstore, Business Objects (FAQT) and Power Bi
  • Understanding of store operations.
  • Excellent organisational ability
  • Problemsolving and inquisitive attitude
  • Works well as part of a team and supports others
  • Good knowledge of all Food category processes & operations
  • Experience using script / coding ideal but not essential
