Real Estate Transactions Specialist - Intern

We are looking for a Transaction Specialist within the Real Estate team who would join the company as part of our growing Real Estate team and who is capable of playing a major role in growing the department and the company.

Bricksave is a fast-growing PropTech startup that helps individuals invest in global real estate investments through an efficient international and fully automated, transactional platform.
We currently have offices in London, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires, with team members based remotely in Switzerland and Argentina.
We're delivering an investment based service in a complex domain with a need for exceptional accuracy, security & availability in an industry that continues to be ripe for disruption.
The role:
You will be part of the Real Estate team and you will work with senior investment team members to source, evaluate and prepare investment opportunities for the platform.
Key accountabilities:
- Assisting in managing a highvolume of deal flow of residential properties in multiple markets.
- Assisting in overseeing the ongoing financial, legal, and technical due diligence processes.
- Assisting as required with investment pipeline and deal flow.
- Preparing investment brochures / reports including, financial forecasting, market data, comparable analysis and renovations budgeting.
- Assisting in managing documentation, inspections, construction budgets and financial underwriting.
- Working closely with external service providers, such as agents, lawyers, brokers, property managers, construction managers, and finance teams throughout the lifecycle of a real estate acquisition.
Required Skills/Qualifications and Experience:
- Final year student or recent graduate from a top university (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) in related field.
- A previous internship experience in real estate investment, real estate advisory or real estate development is recommended.
- A selfstarter, open minded and proactive attitude.
- Flexible mindset capable of multitasking and able to coordinate a variety of workstreams.
- Strong IT skills with very good MS-Office knowledge.
- Self motivated and driven with a genuine interest for real estate investments.
- Excellent mathematical proficiency coupled with good verbal and writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
- Proficiency in English required; Spanish or Portuguese language is an advantage.
- Right to work full time in the UK.
