Technical Knowledge, Processes & Procedures- Has a clear understanding of DC Best Practice and industry standards.
- Has an in depth understanding of all DC processes, events and transactions across TPA.
- Has an indepth knowledge of all DC processes and system capabilities.
- Has an indepth understanding of DC regulatory requirements, changes and compliance.
- Is point of reference on DC technical issues and nonstandard cases and ensures work allocated is processed in accordance with practice guidelines, documented operating procedures, quality standards and performance/service levels.
- Assists with workflow management, including checking systems and team work
- Provide coaching to less experienced team members
- Identifies exceptions and errors and raises these with the Team Leader in order to mitigate risk.
- Works with the Team Leader to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develops and effectively communicates internal procedures and working practices.
Skills / Experience:
- Proven experience in the provision of effective, efficient and proactive administration services to allocated clients.
- Strong working knowledge of DC Trust Based Occupational Pension Schemes including member and scheme wide events.
- Strong working knowledge of DC current pension legislation and the impact this has on the Business Unit.
- Sound knowledge of Pension Administration operating systems, such as Universal Pensions Management.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory body procedures.
- Good understanding of Data Protection legislation, the Information Commissioner, HMRC Limits, the Pensions Regulator, rules and regulations and recent legislative changes.
- Good IT skills.
- Experience of working in a client relationship focused environment within pension administration.
- Communicates clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
- Plans and organises time and workload effectively, manages priorities and works well under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately and effectively.
- Awareness of the UK pensions environment.
