We are currently recruiting an Admissions Representative for our London Campus, based in the heart of Bloomsbury. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will be an integral part of the admissions and administration team.

This varied role requires the ability to work in a fast paced, student facing role, ensuring the cohesive coordination of all GIA London classes.


As Admissions Representative you provide key support in the co-ordination of student lifecycle processes and campus activities that underpin the student experience at the London Campus.

You will use your strong administration skills to provide cheerful, efficient and effective student services. Above all, you will be solution oriented with a "can-do" attitude. Confidence in working with Workday and Salesforce is a nice to have. Knowledge of Visa processes is a must.

Full job description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • With oversight from the Admission manager, lead the student lifecycle, from delivering a clear and engaging admissions process, providing an effective enrolment process, and through to course completion
  • Contribute to the company objective of providing an excellent administrative service to support the student experience for all students at the London campus, from point of enquiry through to graduation / award of credential;
  • Coordinate key student admission and record processes, including the accurate entry of student information on to company databases (Workday, Jenzabar, SalesForce, and other online platforms), ensuring timely and robust maintenance of the student record;
  • Support the Admissions Manager with daytoday financial processes (through Workday and other internal systems) including payments received and the processing of supplier invoices;
  • Provides careers services, assisting with advising and assisting students through careers orientations and workshops;
  • Coordinate student recruitment activities (such as onetoone consultations with prospective students) to meet the London campus' recruitment objectives;
  • Coordinates with other teams in planning and delivering outreach projects and events such as Open Days, trade shows and graduations;
  • Liaise with external stakeholders regarding offcampus events such as National Careers Guidance Show, International Jewellery London (IJL), and Skills London
  • Contribute to the Admissions team's function of providing cheerful, efficient and effective student services, ensuring that the service and quality standards set by the company succeed in delivering a professional and effective learning environment;
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure continuous improvement consistent with GIA's overall mission;
  • Be aware of and adhere to the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), ensuring that enquiries are handled tactfully and escalated where necessary;
  • Communicate effectively, get along with coworkers and management, and interact with others effectively and professionally under pressure.

  • Knowledge of international education systems preferred

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience of working in an educational environment, ideally with student recruitment and/or careers services experience
