As a highly competent communicator with a working ethos for delivering excellent customer service, you will get to experience a variety of HR administrative tasks.

These can range from sourcing temporary staff through our own bank staff and agencies, processing invoices, and providing internal customer support.

As you will be in close contact with the wards you must be able to manage stakeholder expectations and thrive in this fast-paced position.

Strong organisational and time management skills are a must as you will need to efficiently prioritise your workload.

A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is also required for tasks such as filling, record keeping and the development of the departments SOP's.

Computer literacy skills are also important, as the team works across several E-Systems and databases.


By developing a broad understanding of Human Resources in this role, it is a fantastic opportunity to join the team.

  • Management of the recruitment process for all bank workers.
  • Coordinate the induction and training processes for all Bank workers.
  • Ensure that ongoing training is completed to the required timescales and documented, by monitoring and auditing compliance and attendance.
  • Managing the booking and allocation of Bank and Agency workers (across all staffing groups), ensuring that appropriate approval and governance processes are followed.
  • Ensure that timely responses and ongoing updates are provided to services requesting information or booking of temporary staff, escalating concerns regarding inability to fill at an early stage.
  • Ensure compliance with Health Board policies and procedures, escalating areas of noncompliance or concern to the Resourcing Advisor.
  • Ensure robust audit trails are in place in relation to all Temporary Staffing activity.
  • Process invoices relating to Agency and Locum work across staffing groups, ensuring that requests are recorded and approved appropriately on the system and ensuring timely processing.
  • Assist in the process of verification of Bank worker timesheets, to include study, annual leave and expenses.
  • Monitoring Bank Worker usage, to include, regularity, WTD and volume, ensuring that this is regularly reported to the Resourcing Advisor and escalating to services where appropriate.
  • Assisting in the completion of procurement documentation in relation to the booking of Agency staff, for example, call off contract documents.
  • Support the Resourcing team to ensure appropriate equipment and stock levels are maintained, monitoring stock levels and requesting orders as appropriate.
