Our love of exploration and technical expertise help us to provide our clients with invaluable insights.

We source and make sense of the most relevant Geo-data for their needs, so they can design, build and operate their assets more safely, sustainably and efficiently.

But we're always looking for new talent to take the next step with us. For bright minds who enjoy meaningful work and want to push our pioneering spirit further. For individuals who can take the initiative but work well within a team.

The role

Our Marine Site Characterisation Business Line has a great opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our Geophysical Service Line.

In this role you will be responsible for the administration and support in ensuring delivery of Geophysical projects.

You will assist in maintaining a strong working relationship across the business, to ensure that support mechanisms and specialist knowledge are used to support the Project Management team in successfully executing our Projects.

You will use your excellent communication skills to build strong relationships, both internally with your colleagues and externally with clients to co-ordinate Project Management tasks and improve our service delivery.

This job is for you if:

  • You are looking to develop your interpersonal and project related skills while working with a dynamic team who care about what they do.
  • You enjoy working in an ever changing and challenging environment, that will allow you to demonstrate your skills, contribute to Project delivery and provide you with learning opportunities.
  • You are committed and determined, can work with a range of disciplines whilst maintaining focus on daytoday project tasks.
  • You enjoy working as part of a high performing team, focused on project performance and proactive continual improvement.

Who you'll be working with:

You will report to the Project Delivery Manager and will work closely with and report daily to the Project Management and Operations Teams.

You will also work closely with the wider business, such as the commercial, procurement, finance, technical and crewing teams.

Here's what a typical day would be like:

  • Assist the Project Managers with administration of project-related documentation.
  • Compile responses to the draft Project Execution Plan reviews and gather supporting documentation as requested
  • Compile & document premeeting information and assist the team in meetings
  • Manage workflow and record keeping of documents in external document management systems
  • Coordinate part of the internal and external invoicing with Project Managers and Accounts Receivables
  • Issue feedback questionnaires to clients upon project completion and assist in any required follow up
  • Assist entire team with other adhoc admin tasks

Who we are looking for:
Aptitude and attitude are more important than formal qualifications for this role, but we would be looking for someone who demonstrates the following attributes:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to take initiative
  • Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a collaborative manner whilst maintaining influence over daytoday deliverables
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels
  • Ability to manage own workload, prioritise and meet deadlines

What we offer:
Fugro provides a positive work environment as well as projects that will satisfy the most curious minds. We also offer great opportunities to stretch and develop yourself.

By giving you the freedom to grow faster, we think you'll be able to do what you do best, better.

Which should help us to find fresh ways to get to know the earth better. We encourage you to be yourself at Fugro. So bring your energy and enthusiasm, your keen eye and can-do attitude. But bring your questions and opinions too.

Because to be the world's leading Geo-data specialist, we need the strength in depth that comes from a diverse, driven team.

  • Extensive career & training opportunities both nationally and internationally.
  • Competitive salary accompanied by an attractive package including contributory pension scheme
- hybrid working

At Fugro, our people are our superpower. Their variety of viewpoints, experiences, knowledge and talents give us collective strength. Distinctive beliefs and diverse backgrounds are therefore welcome, but discrimination, harassment, inappropriate behaviour and unfair treatment are not.
