Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Support Worker with a focus on Behaviour and Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group support to students with behavioural challenges, fostering a positive and respectful learning atmosphere.
Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement effective strategies for students with SEN.
Conduct assessments and contribute to the creation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
Monitor and track the progress of students, implementing interventions as necessary.
Support the implementation of schoolwide behaviour management policies and procedures.
Work closely with the Pastoral Care team to address the social and emotional needs of students.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of interventions and progress.

Qualifications and Experience:

Relevant qualification in education, counselling, or a related field.
Previous experience working with students with behavioural challenges and SEN.
Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and SEN best practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEN.
