We are looking for part time bookkeeper that has knowledge and experience with the following:

• Xero
• VAT Returns
• Hubdoc
• QuickBooks

In addition, holding a bookkeeping or AAT qualification is desired but not necessary.

The role will be based in Barnstaple and will be for 15 hours per week, weekdays.

Expected to be 10am until 1 pm each day, however, we are flexible with how these hours can be worked.

We also offer a Christmas Bonus, Commission on successful referrals and additional Holiday Leave.

You will be part of a small team of 5 staff (Directors, Apprentice and part time bookkeeper) and so communication skills are a key component of the role.

This will be for an initial 6 month probation period to cover long term sickness, however, this may be extended or even converted into a permanent contract, depending on the individual and success of the company.

Please note that there is a dog on site (directors dog kept in the directors room) and so if you have any allergies to dogs this may not be the best role for you.

Expected start date is 01/05/2023, however, can be pushed to 01/06/2023 if needed.
