Job Title
Sales Channel Specialist


Role Overview
The Sales Channel Specialist will drive revenue growth by enhancing efficiencies within our sales function. This will include overseeing a number of business functions including

  • Oversee merchant activation to decrease current speed to live averages
  • Drive reduction in attrition by improving merchant's early experience of UK Clover
  • Support the growth of new business sales through implementation of new process and technology
  • Provide support to the sales channels through undertaking key administrational account amendments and working with cross company stakeholders to ensure completion
  • Monitoring of merchant feedback and working with internal teams to capture, feedback and plan process enhancements
  • Support the sales community with appropriate literature and MI where necessary

Deliverables and responsibilities;

Operational

  • To improve on the current activation averages across all teams by working with our internal concierge team and Lantec to facilitate a merchant activation
  • Act as overall Subject Matter Expert for technical implementation of accounts and coordination across departments.
  • Work directly with sales teams to support roll out of new process, measure results and provide efficiency recommendations
  • Represent UK Clover Direct Channels in monthly Operations forum and steering meetings with key stakeholders
  • Champion and communicate change.

Strategy

  • Involvement in Compliance and Legal guidance adherence/steering for outbound sales process
  • Support Coordination of Sales service and analyse results/progress.
  • Ownership/Direction of Business Consultant library and responsibility to develop new content where necessary.
  • Completion of weekly/monthly right first time and activation metrics planning support enhancements where appropriate
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop relationships, both internally and externally
  • Selfmotivated and driven to succeed
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite skills
  • Background in sales environment would be advantageous
  • Background in Financial Services would be advantageous
