Description
Main duties and responsibilities

  • To ensure compliance with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
  • Keeping toilets, baths, sinks, walls and floors clean
  • To clean bedrooms, make beds, dust and vacuum all areas
  • Maintain clean corridors and communal areas using warning cones when washing floors, shampoo carpets where necessary
  • Maintain clean sluices.
  • Empty yellow clinical waste bags and rubbish daily
  • To keep all areas clean in accordance with cleaning rota or as requested by your manager
  • Assist with domestic kitchen duties when required
  • To carry out all duties in accordance with The Home policies designed to protect employees and service users.
  • Be able to work alone or in a team
  • To assist with the maintenance of stock control and work within budget.

Salary:
£9.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Consett DH8 5TH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:


  • Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Work authorisation:

  • United Kingdom (required)
