Job title:
Installation Manager


Due to expansion my client is looking for a installation manager to join their team. The role will include building partnerships with Architects, M & E Contractors and Main Contractors, both by telephone and field sales visits.

Salary:

£38,000 to £43,000


Location:
Rickmansworth, Herts

Working hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday - Friday with a rota'd Saturday morning, (1 in 4)


Installation Manager responsibilities:


  • Manage engineer's diary to ensure best use of resources in order to meet deadlines and achieve efficiency.
  • Manage the performance of engineers and supporting administrative staff, incorporating regular one to ones and addressing any issues, if they arise.
  • Liaise with all "new build" site managers. Assume responsibility for managing each project from first fix through to completion.
  • Ensure each stage of the projects are signed off and
- checked complete according to plans and specifications.

  • Clearly define the individual responsibilities of the installation department and communicate to all members of the team to ensure accountability and responsibilities are clearly understood and accepted.
  • Coordinate and review job sheets, ensuring these are completed and that any additional works are planned, and appropriate action taken.
  • Actively support engineers by attending site to improve standards and ensure jobs are
- completed on time.

  • Take appropriate action to improve efficiency.

Installation Manager attributes:


  • Need to have a very good attention to detail
  • Strong management skills.
  • Multitasking with efficiency having the ability to prioritise work
  • An understanding of the company's needs, in the department.
  • Good authority with regards to managing your team.
  • Experience in the field and projects we cover.
  • Selfmotivated & systematic.
