EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW


Working within our forward-thinking Water Treatment department as a Technical Operator (12 month fixed term contract), you'll work at our groundwater treatment works over a geographical area.

it's a great opportunity to be part of a large Operational team, striving for goal zero from a safety perspective, continuously improving site standards.

In your role you will have the opportunity to embrace curiosity and learn new skills outside of your 'day job'.

We are encouraged to find new ways of working, supporting us and our colleagues in fixing things for customers before they go wrong.

Some of your other key accountabilities will include:

  • Operate ground water treatment works (WTW, distribution service reservoirs (DSR) and distribution booster stations (DBS) associated assets
  • Maintain & improve site standards/ identify Health and Safety improvements.
  • Operate the assets under your control to ensure that all quality and quantity limits are met.
  • Participate in an out of hours standby rota
  • Ensure the Health & Safety of yourself, colleagues, visitors and members of the public is maintained at all times
  • Ensure sites are operated at a minimum cost in an energy efficient way.
  • Comply with statutory, company policies and procedures.
  • Operate the assets under your control to ensure that there is no adverse impact on the environment.
