Polytec are looking for an Experienced Assembly Technician for our client based just west of Cambridge. You will have good hands-on experience of high precision mechanical assembly and testing skills.


Responsibilities:


  • Assembly and subassembly of small mechanical/electrical sub modules and functional test stages within the flow line
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions, carry out modifications and build prototypes as required
  • Undertake testing to the vacuum specification
  • Responsible for the maintenance of test equipment

Requirements:


  • Good handson experience of high precision mechanical assembly and testing
  • Ability to follow established procedures to ensure that agreed deadlines and manufacturing targets are met
