The Marvell College seek to appoint an Alternative Provision tutor, to work in our ARC and Alternative Pathways, which cater for some of our most vulnerable children across all year groups.
The ARC is our onsite provision that provides high-quality interventions for students across key stage 3 and 4, who have struggled to succeed in mainstream lessons for a number of different reasons.
This role will involve working directly with the students in the ARC and Alternative Pathway, supporting their general pastoralcare, as well as delivering and supporting curriculum lessons and interventions with individuals and small groups.
You will work alongside the Assistant Headteacher, responsible for Alternative Pathways, the ARC Manager, and teaching staff
to prepare students for reintegration into mainstream lessons as well as preparing them for the next steps in education. This
role could be your next career opportunity. If you are ambitious, inspirational, creative, open minded and want to be part of our
success then we want to hear from you.
The Marvell College has gone from strength to strength since receiving a "Good" Ofsted report in July 2019. Since then, the school has been oversubscribed every year.
