Service Engineer Job Description

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company in the cooling and heating sector. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing equipment across various contracts, working closely with clients, managers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Attend call outs to commercial, industrial, and domestic clients, diagnosing and resolving issues with refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
Carry out regular maintenance on customer equipment as per maintenance agreements.
Liaise with branch teams to ensure efficient job management, including part ordering and diagnosis.
Complete service sheets, timesheets, and other documentation in a timely manner.
Manage van stock levels in accordance with company policy.
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding job progress and requirements.

Requirements:

Vocational qualification up to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
Experience as a maintenance/service engineer, preferably in the air conditioning and refrigeration sector.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00.

Northampton.
