Content Professional working with Telecoms Company for an initial 12-month contract, this will be paying between £275 - £325 per day (inside IR35).

The client offers Hybrid Working weekly split: 3 days at the London office, 2 from home.
Job Summary

We're looking to re-write and re-design large sections of our public facing website, ensuring that every page and document has a clear set of messages and purpose, works hard to give audiences the message that they need and helps us in our quest to drive more traffic through Search Engine Optimisation.

You'll be working closely with the Brand & Marketing and Digital team to make impactful copy to our website, marketing campaigns.

Main Responsibilities

  • You'll take our tone of voice and bring different content to life across digital, print and marketing social media channels.
  • You'll be thinking about our product and feature naming, ensuring that it's simple and clear to end users to understand and avoids the use of acronyms.
  • You'll be making sure that you have copy that works hard from an SEO and accessibility perspective for our digital channels using data and insight to drive your decision making.
  • You'll be collaborative with the rest of the company to understand key messages and objectives.
  • You'll drive consistency of messaging across different channels, creating a glossary of terms and reusable phrases.
Personal Specification

  • Passionate about words you'll get a buzz out of storytelling and finding words that resonate with the public.
  • You'll want to understand more about topics within our industry to help you know how to write better copy.
  • You'll be great at stakeholder management and be able to articulate the rationale for the words that you've selected to bring their message to life.
  • You'll use data and insight to support your choice of words.
  • You'll be a go getter, and happy being the single voice of copywriting.
  • We'll want to see a portfolio of your work.
