We are working with an established manufacturer an South Yorkshire who are looking to appoint a Mechanical Fitter on a Monday to Friday day's role.

As Mechanical Fitter you need to have a good understanding of parts such has hydraulics, pneumatics and gears.

You will be joining a forward thinking business who are working on some of the most unique projects on the market.

Further training will be provided to bring you up to speed with their technology.

Mechanical Fitter - Role and Responsibilities - Fitter / Service / Maintenance / Production

  • Installation, removal and servicing of mechanical equipment.
  • Inspection and testing of parts
  • Carrying out instructions and procedures
  • Modification to parts as required
  • Working within engineering and quality processes.

echanical Fitter - Skills and Abilities - Fitter / Service / Maintenance / Production

  • Relevant experience as a mechanical fitter, service and/or maintenance engineer
  • Mechanical Engineering qualification
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Problem solving skills
