About the role


You will be working with this outstanding secondary school to help re-interate students who are at risk of permmanent exclusion back into the mainstream class.

You will be working with classes of approximately 4 students of mixed ability to help improvetheir mathematics abilities and understanding.

Your role will involve planning and delivering maths lessons, in line with students care plans to ensure students are able to recieve individualised and specialist support.

You will be assisted with behavioursupport assistants throughout the classroom also. This will be a full-time position, Monday to Friday for an ASAP start.

This role would be ideal for a Fully Qualified Teacher with experience teaching Maths at a Secondary level, prior experience working withstudents in a PRU/Alternative Provision setting or those with behavioural or social, emotionak and mental health difficultues are very desireable for this role.


About the school
This is an excellent school with an attached re-integration base for students based in the London Borough of Camden.

They currently offer a 7-week programme for Camden based students in KS3/KS4 who are at risk of exclusion from their home schools.

Its facilitiesinclude 3 spacious and airy classrooms, a sports centre that comes fully equipped with a gym with boxing ring for students who are motibated by physical activity, and a tree-lined outdoor space.

Pupils whilst here are taught Maths, English, Science, Humanitiesand PE as well as to learn strategies for managing their responses to situations that could lead to exclusion.

At the end of this time, students are re-integrated back into their home schools and a new set of students will begin their programme.

The school is based a 2 minute walk from Chalk Farm underground station.
