Within the Blood Supply Directorate at NHSBT we have some ambitious plans to deliver change over the next five years.

Working within the Programme and Portfolio Team you will be at the forefront of supporting these change programmes. The role will be varied, supporting work across donation, manufacturing, testing and logistics.

You will help with the project work, undertaking a variety of duties to help ensure the success of these plans.

This is a unique opportunity to expand your understanding of project/programme methodology and delivery.

You will therefore have a good grasp of project management through the complete lifecycle, supported by an excellent grasp of IT packages (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and the ability to use these to produce professional reports.

Good verbal and written communication skills are more important. Calm when under pressure, you will be a team-player with knockout organisational and prioritising capabilities. You will also be educated to HNC/HND level or equivalent, and you will be keen to learn.
