We are seeking an experienced Bricklayers-3&1 gang to join our team. As a small developer we have sites across Leicestershire and Derby, we build bespoke homes to the highest standards.


Duties:

• Lay bricks and other masonry units to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures
• Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using hand or power tools
• Cut or shape bricks, concrete blocks, or other masonry materials to fit specific dimensions
• Align structures using plumb lines, levels, or straightedges
• Repair or replace damaged bricks or other masonry units
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Brick Mason or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and materials
• Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans
• Proficient in using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, hammers, and levels
• Familiarity with power tools such as saws and drills
• Basic welding skills preferred but not required
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Excellent attention to detail and problemsolving skills

Please note that this is a physically demanding job that requires lifting heavy materials and working in various positions. Prior experience in roofing is a plus.
