Career Teachers are seeking to appoint two outstanding French Teachers to cover maternity leave from Easter.

You will be able to teach French to GCSE level across the age and ability range.

We are looking for excellent classroom practitioners who are able to employ a range of teaching styles and promote languages for all.

The key areas of responsibility will be:

To set high expectations for students' behaviour, establishing and maintaining a good standard of discipline through well focused teaching and the development of positive and productive relationships;
To use a variety of teaching methods and resources, which sustain the momentum of students work and keeps all pupils engaged;
To use assessment information to inform planning and maximise progress;
To mark and monitor students work providing constructive feedback and setting appropriate targets to maximise progress

To be successful, you will need:

A teaching qualification e.g. PGCE, B.Ed, GTP
Previous experience of teaching French up to KS
Good communication skills
Have a proactive approach to work
Be able to build a good rapport with students
Ability to engage pupils in tasks
